Love is in the Air!!

With the month of Love approaching way too fast I have been working on a project for my up and coming class for Hannah's entitled "Shabby Scrappin'"! So, I decided that for February I would turn my DT project into my class which is this really awesome little 7Gypsies tag book! And since the class is all about incorporating the distressed look into our scrapbooking and learning all the techniques that go along with that look I thought why not do what I LOVE with this cute little book and get Shabby! I love rich deep colors and the old world feel of distressing! I used a multitude of stamps from different manufacturers and a very cool antiquing ink along with some Tim Holtz Distressing inks. I had so much fun getting dirty doing this project that you would not believe how inky my hands have been for days! But, if you know me well you know that I usually have ink on my hands and a multitude of other places. It has gotten to the point that I need to wear my Making Memories apron when I scrap or I will not have any clothes that are not inked up anymore!! The sad part is that I love being all inky!! Lol!! It has this great sense of being a child again and having fun without a care in the world! I totally love that about this art form called scrapbooking!! Ok, here is a sneeky peeky of the book which is a Valentine's coupon book to give to someone special in your life.
Remember, this is just a sneeky peek at the book and if you want to see the whole thing you will have to go into to Hannah's to check it out!! Plus, sign up for the class and you will get to make this awesome book for your loved one! This class is going to be awesome and tons of fun! You will also get to learn how I do my signature chipboard letters along with a ton of other techniques and tips that you have always wanted to learn how to do!! This class will be happening on the 3rd of February from 11am - 1pm and on the 13th of February from 5pm - 7pm. I look forward to getting "Shabby" with you!!

Here is..............

some photos of a project that I completed for Hannah's using the Funky Vintage line from Making Memories. Yes, it is an older line of papers but one that I have always loved and I think it is timeless! I was giving this line to make a small mini-album with using the Funky Vintage line of mini-albums that Making Memories made to go with the papers. This was a project that took me awhile to complete because of course I had to get funky with it!! I decided to go with my crazy ideas which usually get me in trouble!! So with out further delay here it is:

Again, I must apologize for the really bad glare on some of the photos due to me taking the photos at the store instead of at home and being in too much of a hurry to worry about glare on the page protectors!! So, my bad!! The book is up at Hannah's for all to see with out the glare. I am off to work some more on a coupon love book for the store and then on to projects for up and coming classes that I will be teaching.

Happy Belated New Year!!

I have been such a bad bad blogger!! So much has been going on that I had to just shut myself down for awhile and get it together if you know what I mean. I finally found out at my doctor's appt. that I do not have Lupus thank the Lord!! I have some kind of connective tissue degeneration that they are saying links to the damage done to my body from the chemo treatments that I received way back when which was just what I had suspected. So needless to say there have been a ton of new meds and alot of sleeping going on! I want to thank you all for keeping me in your thoughts and prayers because I know how much this keeps me going! I don't know what I would do without all of you!! As the song says "I get by with a little help from my friends"!! I have been working on getting stuff done for Hannah's and also planning and preparing some cool projects for upcoming classes that I will be teaching at Hannah's as well. As soon as I get some of it done you can expect to see some photos of them. Until next time, Tracy
